Short Excursions
Nairobi City Tour
Nairobi National Park
Karen blixen Museum, Langata Giraffe Center & Carnivore Restaurant

    Nairobi City Tour - 3 hours
    The tour covers Nairobi shopping areas, the law courts, the Kenyatta International Conference Center, from which you can stand back and enjoy fantastic views of Nairobi city center, the Parliament Buildings, Uhuru park, the city market, the National museum and Snake park.

    Nairobi National Park - 4 hours
    Visit the only game park within the limits of the city, The National Park featuring the highest concentration of black rhinos in the World. Proceed to the Animal Orphanage where wounded and orphaned animals are nursed back to health.

    Karen Blixen Museum, Langata Giraffe Center & Carnivore Restaurant
    Visit the “Out of Africa” Karen Blixen museum located in the house where this famous author resided. Proceed to the Giraffe Center where you will be offered the unique opportunity to hand feed Rothschild Giraffes. After a day of touring a stop at the famous Carnivore restaurant provides an excellent place to sample succulent barbequed game meat and an extensive choice of well varied dishes.

Rift Valley and Mt Longonot
Lake Nakuru

    Rift Valley and Mt Longonot
    Spend the day trekking the sides dormant volcano of Mt Longonot to see the breathtaking views of the rift valley.

    Lake Nakuru
    Drive to Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch. Nakuru National park is the best place in Kenya to sight white rinhos grazing by the lakeside, the sheet of Pink flamingos covering the shores of the lake is also a spectacular site. After an afternoon game drive head back to Nairobi with a stop over at Naviasha Country club for tea of Coffee. Arrive in Nairobi in the early morning.


3 day safari
Mount Kenya and Aberdares

    day 1
    Depart from Nairobi traveling though the fertile coffee and tea plantations of the central highlands to arrive in Aberdares. After lunch take an afternoon game drive returning to the Treetops hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

    day 2
    After an early breakfast depart to Africa’s second highest mountain Mt Kenya. Check in at Mount Kenya Safari Lodge and spend the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge.

    day 3
    After an early breakfast begin drive back to Nairobi arriving in the early afternoon.


3 day safari
Maasai Mara

    day 1
    Depart from Nairobi in the early morning to travel to Maasai Mara. After lunch proceed to enjoy an afternoon game drive though the national park, a classic example of the African savana. Dinner and overnight stay at a lodge/camp.

    day 2
    After an early breakfast depart on a full day game drive. The park is densely populated with a wide range of wild life, including all of the big cats, numerous heard of elephants, giraffes, wildebeest and many more. Dinner and overnight at lodge/ camp.

    day 3
    Early Game drive before breakfast. Late breakfast then leave for Nairobi taking lunch enroute.


4 day safari
Lake Nakuru and Maasai Mara

    day 1
    Early departure for Lake Nakuru National Park. After a picknic lunch proceed to view the astounding site of thousands of flamingos and other birds over the lake. Dinner and overnight at lodge/camp

    day 2
    After Breakfast depart for Maasai Mara arriving in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon on the banks of Maara river watching Hippos bath in the waters. Overnight and dinner at camp/lodge.

    day 3
    After an early breakfast take a full day drive through the park stopping for a lunch picnic. Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

    day 4
    After breakfast return to Nairobi driving through the astounding scenery of the rift valley and stopping at various view points along the way. Arrive back in Nairobi late afternoon.


5 day trip
Aberdares, Mt Kenya and Samburu

    day 1
    Drive north of Nairobi to the Aberdares game park. After lunch at the hotel transfer to the Treetops hotel or append the day walking though Aberdares if camping. Dinner and overnight at camp/lodge.

    day 2
    Drive to Samburu arriving in time for lunch. After an afternoon game drive dinner and overnight stay at camp/lodge.

    day 3
    Breakfast at camp/lodge. After morning game drives, lunch at the camp then proceed to Mt Kenya arriving in time for dinner. Overnight at lodge.

    day 4
    After an early breakfast and game drive proceed to Mt. Kenya Safari Club for lunch. Dinner and overnight stay at the Club.

    day 5
    Leave after a leisurely morning breakfast head back to Nairobi arriving in the early morning.


6 day trip
Samburu, Baringo and Great Rift Valley

    day 1
    Leave early from Nairobi, drive to Samburu in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at lodge/camp

    day 2
    Full day game drives in Samburu National Park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

    day 3
    Leave early for Baringo, lunch enroute. Dinner and overnight at lodge.

    day 4
    Leave the lodge in the early morning heading towards Lake Baringo to see the hot springs, geyser, and beautiful bird life. After lunch proceed to lake Nakuruto observe the thousands of flamingoes over the shores of the lake.

    day 5
    After an early breakfast head to the lake Elementaita. Lunch at the lodge then proceed to Lake Naivasha and spend the afternoon walking though Hells Gate national park, one of only two parks in Kenya where you can wonder freely walking though the park with out a guide or ranger. Dinner and overnight at lodge.

    day 6
    After breakfast head back to Nairobi arriving in the early afternoon.


7 day trip
Amboseli, Tsavo and Mombasa

    day 1
    Leave Nairobi traveling via Namanga on the Tanzania border to Amboseli. After lunch epart on an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

    day 2
    After an early breakfast head to visit the snow caped Mt Kilimanjaro then proceed to picnic in the Amboseli plains. Dinner and overnight at camp/lodge

    day 3
    After an early morning game drive return for a late breakfast then head to Tsavo west game park in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon on game drives passing though the Mzima springs and Chylul Hills. Dinner and overnight at lodge.

    day 4
    After breakfast head out on a game drive in Tsavo East visit Lugard falls. Dinner and overstay at lodge.

    day 5
    After an early breakfast head to the coast to the beautiful beaches of Mombasa. Proceed to cottages for lunch. Spend the afternoon at leisure lelaxing on the golden beached under the Kenyan sun. Dinner and overnight at lodge.

    day 6
    Spend the entire day at leisure relaxing swimming and wondering arroung the spectacular beaches of the Kenyan coast.

    day 7
    After breakfast embark on a tour around the historic sites of Mombasa city. After an early lunch head back to Nairobi.
